The International Business English Academy is dedicated to elevating your English level to a native workplace proficiency. The business environment is cut-throat, and we want you to feel comfortable with making your voice heard in meetings, especially with large groups. Rebecca Thomas
Founder
Passionate about linguistics from a young age, Rebecca is a seasoned language teaching professional with experience teaching English to learners across the United States, Latin America, Europe, and Asia. She is a strong believer that language cannot and should not be learned via rote memorization nor be seen as a chore to remain in long-term memory. It was through her experience learning a second working language, Spanish, for her career, and her time working on international teams based in Boston, that the International Business English Academy was born. In her workshop-style courses, she seeks to build experiences that support business professionals in navigating the nuance that makes it especially difficult for professionals on global teams. Rebecca holds both MBA and MPH degrees from Boston University.
